Romance isn’t dead and whether you’re in a new relationship or been with the same person for years, there are lots of different ways to keep the romance going with the simplest of things. The park is one of them, and whether there is one down your road or nearby, here are a few romantic ideas you can do at the park.
Picnic with a twist - When people hear a romantic date in the park, the first thing that springs to mind is undoubtedly a classic picnic. However, if finger food isn’t your thing, there are many ways to change it up. For instance, you can do a barbeque. Instead of lugging a proper barbeque with you, buy one of the disposable ones from your local grocery store and light it up at the park (check park rules first). Then start cooking your feast of food and finish it with your favorite snacks.
Make a camp and watch the stars - Instead of paying for a night away, use the local amenities around you, and the park is one of them. Set up a camp in the afternoon, with a tent and food supplies and watch the day to turn to night. Once it’s pitch black and everything is silent, lay on your back and watch the stars above. You’ll be amazed as you try counting them.
Go paddling in the river - If your park has a river, then see if you’re able to hire a paddleboat. That way you’ll be getting a little bit of exercise but also having some great fun together with incredible green views.
